Abstract

Perennial herbaceous plant 30-100 cm high with a branched stem. The leaves are pinnately dissected with a wavy margin. Flowers in sparse simple umbels at the ends of branches. Corolla yellow, with four free petals, approx. 2 cm in diameter. The fruit is a pod-like capsule, opened by two wings. The plant contains orange milky juice.
