Abstract

This article offers a psycholinguistic analysis of the phraseological units found in Italian folk tales. The aim of the study is to examine how phraseologisms are perceived in human consciousness, their semantic and emotional associations, and their role in the cultural context. The research employed psycholinguistic methods such as the association experiment, experimental semantic analysis, and cognitive mapping in order to investigate the significance of phraseological units in linguistic activity.
