Abstract

The article deals with fun and games reflected in the "Kudatgu Bilig". Lines illuminating this side of social life are collected from various bayts of the poem. In most cases, the author indirectly mentions them. In the opening lines there is a condemnation of games and fun. At the end of the poem, regret that I did not appreciate the "cute children's fun." Games are directly mentioned - "chavgan", "backgammon", "archery" and "shatranch".
