Abstract

The goal of shredding solid household waste is to reduce the amount of waste collected in landfills and to reduce the cost of special transport vehicles. Creating waste shredders for processing household waste without taking it to landfills is a big challenge, because household waste is a conglomerate (an irregular, random collection, mixture of various products) with different physical and mechanical properties and properties, including fibrous additives (paper, wood, textile, leather, rubber, etc.), brittle component properties (glass, stone, bone), plastic, ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
